The Poetry Museum, situated on Amsterdam's Museumplein, stands as a groundbreaking virtual institution that invites visitors to explore its virtual corridors 24/7 through a user-friendly app, without any admission fees. This museum represents a captivating fusion of literary arts, design, typography, architecture, and cutting-edge Augmented Reality technology. The curator of the new museum is Anna Enquist, who meticulously curated 60 exceptional pieces from the realm of Dutch poetry.
Functioning as an expansive and open index of possibilities, the museum provides a unique platform for the reexamination of poetry. It encourages readers to engage with these literary works in a contemporary, experimental, and sometimes even provocative manner, transforming the act of reading into a dynamic and playful experience—an intellectual amusement park of sorts.

Anna Enquist, granted full creative autonomy, undertook the task of selecting ten distinguished Dutch poets, each contributing a curated selection of six poems. This diversity of voices creates a rich tapestry of poetic expression, offering visitors a comprehensive and immersive journey through the varied landscapes of Dutch verse.
The architectural structure of the museum is a testament to its commitment to providing a multifaceted experience. Divided into ten pavilions, each dedicated to a specific poet, the museum unfolds three-dimensional representations of six carefully chosen poems for visitors to explore. The immersive quality of these spatial poems is accessed through the convenience of personal devices, such as smartphones or tablets, enabling a personalized and interactive encounter with the art of poetry. This unique approach blurs the lines between traditional and contemporary forms of engagement with literature, offering a glimpse into the future of cultural experiences.

In essence, The Poetry Museum transcends the boundaries of conventional artistic institutions, embracing the digital realm to create an inclusive and accessible space for poetry enthusiasts, literature aficionados, and curious minds alike. It stands as a testament to the evolving nature of cultural representation, where technology and artistic expression converge to redefine the way we perceive and engage with the written word.
